ArtLab J Young Leadership Program (Ages 13-18)

The ArtLab J Young Leadership Program is an enriching opportunity designed for aspiring leaders aged 13-18 who have a passion for K-POP, Korean culture, and the arts. This immersive program, running from September to May, equips participants with the skills and experience needed to become confident, community-oriented leaders.

To earn the ArtLab J Young Leadership Program Certification, participants are required to complete a minimum of 100 volunteer hours, which will include teaching, organizing events, and participating in outreach activities. This certification not only recognizes their dedication but also sets them apart as emerging leaders in both the arts and cultural spheres.

Participants will engage in a variety of activities that foster leadership, creativity, and cultural understanding. The program includes two main tracks:

  • K-POP Culture Leadership: Participants will immerse themselves in K-POP culture by learning and performing dance routines, teaching younger children, and spreading K-POP culture through public performances and community outreach.

    Requirement (September - May):

    • Take a K-POP Dance class at least once a week.

  • Art Leadership: The Young Artist Leadership Program provides emerging artists with the opportunity to further develop their artistic talents while making a difference in their community. Participants will volunteer by teaching art classes for children, leading community art workshops, and actively engaging in local events. This program empowers young leaders to refine their skills, share their passion for art, and inspire others through creative expression.

Throughout the program, participants will take on responsibilities that challenge them to grow as leaders. They will work collaboratively, plan and execute events, and actively contribute to the community.

This program is an excellent opportunity for young individuals to develop leadership skills, make a positive impact on their community, and connect with peers who share their interests in K-POP and the arts.
