Little Movers Ballet
Ages 3-4yrs, Pre-Level
The perfect class for the littlest mover! This class provides a solid foundation to life and dance, focusing on coordination of major and minor muscle groups. Students thrive in the structured, disciplined curriculum that is created to increase an individual’s creativity and exploration. Exploration in class will challenge students’ physical abilities while enriching their attention span, interpersonal relationship skills and problem solving skills linking everything through dance. This class is perfect for the young student beginning ballet.
K-POP Dance
Ages 4 and up
K-Pop (the shortened term referring to "Korean Popular Music") is a genre of music and industry which fuses elements of Electronic Music, Hip Hop, Rock&Roll, R&B, Pop and other musical styles. K-Pop began in South Korea where, aside from being a musical genre, it is also a subculture phenomenon that has gained popularity here in the West. In ArtLabJ's K-Pop class, students will not only learn to appreciate the music and subculture of K-Pop but also learn routines from the industry itself. Students will undertake the dance routines of such artists as BTS, Black Pink, and more.
Ballet I
The beginning of ALJ’s codified Ballet curriculum, focusing on strengthening the muscles needed for precision and balance. The students build their ballet technique vocabulary and begin to execute and specify steps on and off the barre.
Ballet II
Students are furthering their base skills of ballet technique. The expectations and pace of class increases, as does the difficulty of the vocabulary covered. Students are continually challenged to find their own edge, artistically and physically. The class begins to investigate nuances of movement and performing.
Pre-Pointe
Focusing on strengthening the ankles, knees, and hips to prepare for pointe work.
Contemporary
Rooted heavily in ballet and modern techniques, contemporary has often been described as a melting-pot style. Dancers will continue to hone their skills, maintain their technique and explore new and exciting avenues to express themselves whilst utilizing dance movement as a vessel to communicate.
Stretch & Conditioning
Conditioning Class will cross-train the dancer. There will be a focus on core strength, endurance, and injury prevention.
Leaps & Turns
After a strengthening and stretching warmup, class focuses on technique progressions for kicks, leaps, and jumps.
Tumbling
Students will focus on basic acro techniques including tumbling, conditioning, flexibility and strengthening.
Acro/Contemporary
Students will focus on basic acro techniques including tumbling, conditioning, flexibility and strengthening while incorporating contemporary movement qualities.
Lyrical
Experience the beauty of lyrical dance, where ballet and jazz techniques merge with expressive storytelling. This class focuses on musicality, emotional expression, and graceful movement, helping young dancers develop both technical skills and artistic creativity. Perfect for those who love to perform and connect deeply with music.

Creative Storyteller: Storytelling Art Studio Classes for the AI Era
Age 4-5 years: Storytelling Performance Art
Children in this age group will engage in storytelling combined with sensory drawing, allowing them to explore their imagination and creativity through fun and interactive activities.
Age 6-8 years: Storytelling Basic Art
This class focuses on storytelling paired with basic drawing, painting, and crafting. Young artists will learn to bring their stories to life through visual art, building foundational skills in a variety of mediums.
Age 9-11 years: Storytelling Advanced Art
Older children will delve into advanced storytelling through books, movies, or self-created stories. This class offers a deeper exploration of drawing, painting, and crafting, helping students develop both their narrative and artistic abilities.
