OPPORTUNITIES & BENEFITS INCLUDE:
Social Media/marketing Intern:
10 week internship working with a minimal weekly schedule.
Work closely with the Artistic Director and Lab Program Coordinator and assist in all aspects of DDCF’s marketing. Tasks will include social media management, drafting marketing materials such as press releases, and assisting with press representation at events. Internship will run from October 13, 2023 to December 22, 2023Interns are invited to join ArtLab J weekly classes for free.
Theater Backstage Intern at Detroit Dance City Festival 2024
3 day internship working with DDCF and Detroit Institute of Arts Production staff.
Work closely with DDCF technical director and Detroit Institute of Arts team to produce our performance showcases. Tasks will include working backstage during technical rehearsals and performances, lining performers up and assisting with any other technical needs. Internship dates TBD.
Kids Program Intern:
Interns will be contacted on a project based schedule.
Each hour worked will earn one free ArtLab J weekly class.Usher, events/performances:
Volunteers will be contacted on a needed basis
Volunteers will receive a free ticket to the event and or performance they are volunteering to work.
